: I have tried Accutane and have been for just over 7 months with NO positive results. yes I am a rare breed but i have been told that if Accutane doesn't work, nothing will.. which gives me a sick feeling at my stomach. get a second opinion with another dermatologist about Accutane. hopefully you will have better luck. ask him about a cortizone injection directly into the cyst. it WILL work but it is only a quick fix instead a cure to the problem. good luck!!

i just wanted to let you know that skin problems come from a number of different factors. when your colon is corroded w/ toxins, the only way that your body has to get the toxins out is through the skin, causing breakouts and cysts and a number of things. i have cystic acne on my face and nothing ever worked. i went to a nutritonalist/doctor and she told me that i needed to have my colon cleansed and that once i did that, my skin would be completely cleared. i am doing a 14 day colon cleanse right now to see if that will work. i have heard from a number of different people that once they did it, their skin cleared completely up. there are a number of different colon cleanses you can do. you can find them at a local health food store or else on the interenet. i hope this helps someone out there. good luck
