With good intentions, I am sure. However, just not enough for a true acne sufferer. Some helpful ideas, I hope. A few products I have found to be useful over the years: "Boil Ease" (although not made for this, works great on cystic acne discomfort/swelling), "Draw Out Salve" (same thing, but messy ... try isolated areas and cover with gauze/band-aid), bleaching cream (ask dermatologist ... I recommend 6%-7% ... helps with those dark pigment spots), sulfur creams work the best (for me) for those surface blemishes (although, like any product, loses it's effectiveness over time). Probably the best advice I have is to never take one dermatologists opinion and stick with it. If he/she is consistently wrong, move on. I read the posting of a woman who was getting ready to have her cysts cut out because her doctor was against Accutane. When a cyst comes to the point when it has to be cut out, Accutane will not help. However, Accutane is a viable product and will (in most cases) keep the cysts from hardening and becoming permanently embedded (unless surgically removed that is).
