: Using Accutane was the best thing I could have done for my acne. I've been off it for two years now and I rarely have a problem with acne. Currrently, due to my oily skin condition, I am using Aqua Glycolic (Glycolic Acid) and Differin gel. This combination has been most beneficial. If your doctor does not recommend Accutane, I recommend getting a second opinion.
