Please don't take this the wrong way - I'm not trying to be difficult or challenging.
If taking a handful of vitamins and stuff every day offers such dramatic results for acne, why do I only hear about it on message boards? I'd think places like GNC would be advertising these facts all over the place! And wouldn't I hear about it in health magazines?
I'm not trying to be difficult, I just get nervous about filling my body every day with things that some are claiming are "toxic." Also, should the amounts that are being recommended be affected by a person's weight? I weigh about 110 pounds. Is one dosage safe for some and not others because of weight? I'm very curious about the advice regarding high doses of vitamins, but I wish there was more concrete information.
Also, and I don't mean to anger anyone, with the wacko messages that find their way to this board, I worry about the small possibility that someone might be posting under several names, trying to convince people to take inappropriate levels of things that might screw them up. Perhaps I sound paranoid, but ultimately I'm responsible for making my choices, and if, five years from now, I run into trouble because of what I did now, it'll do me no good to say "I read it on the message board!"
I don't mean to sound super-skeptical, but I think everyone should be careful. While it has been VERY helpful for me to get advice from this board, I still have to maintain control and responsibility for myself.
