I would say I've been taking it for over 5 years, and it still helps control my acne. If I go off of it, I'll break out again. My doctor likes prescribing it because he says that people don't usually develop a tolerance to it. I don't know how accurate that is, but I know it still works for me. So I'm going to take it as long as I have to.
