: does anyone know the difference between a sebacious and an (cystic) acne cyst...r they the same thing?thanks...

Sebaceous glands are the glands in your body that produce oil. Cysts are a form of acne. They are often large and painful. Cysts, whiteheads, nodules, pustules, and blackheads are all different kinds of acne.
