Ryan I did break out at first with differin. The other thing my derm did was prescribe the differin
solution rather than the gel. Klaron is a new skin antibiotic which was approved by the FDA in
1997. I never used mosturizer while on differin. Today, I still use differin 2-3 times a week for
maitenance. It's the solution so it only takes 2 sec to apply. If you're starting to see results,
just keep on trucking.

Steve, did you break out at first with differin? i'm also on minocycline and differin, i've been on for 3 weeks, and i'm much better than i was last week. have any suggestions? how much differin did you apply, and did you use moisturizer? what is Klaron, by the way?

: : I just wanted to share my success story to give you guys a little hope. Most people are on this board
: : because they are not seeing the results. I had a bad breakout last January which did not go away like
: : all the others. It wasn't until May I went to the derm. He prescribed minocycline, Klaron, and differin.
: : After about a month's use, I saw no results. Like everyone tells you to do, I kept up my routine for
: : treating the acne. About 6 weeks after I started treatment, it magically started to disappear. It hasn't
: : come back since. I know I had a mild case, but it took awhile before I noticed any difference. Be
: : thankful you don't have cystic fibrosis and acne like myself! Good luck!
