In Reply to: Whats the best makeup to try for acne prone skin? posted by alex on November 07, 2000 at 19:03:29:

I have only been using a concealer on my skin to hide my blemishes since I can't stand the feeling of makeup on my skin, but I thought I'd mention this because it might be helpful for others. I guess I have mild to moderate acne and I have been using the Proactiv Solution Medicated Concealer. It has worked really well for me. They also have a lot of other new products to use along with it for skin and hair. I haven't tried any other products, though. Anyway, the concealer usually blends and hides pretty well and it works on the blemish to dry and clear it up. It is quite a bit expensive compared to regular makeup - most of their products tend to range around the $20.00 mark - and it only comes in 3 tones, but it could be something to check out.
