Well, I've heard that some acne can be caused by having a thick epidermal layer. The hair tries to push through and as a result it causes irritation leading to acne. My eye doctor's son had this. He told me that they went to a derm and the derm told them it doesn't matter how you shave since it's under the skin. The kid went on Accutane and he's doing better now. I'd suggest you go see a derm for treatments. Hope this helps. :)
