: I was thinking that maybe when I put moisturizer over the Differin that I accidentally spread it down to under my jawline and onto my neck, I don't know. In the beginning I was also using Brevoxyl Creamy Wash, which has benzoyl peroxide and glycolic acid in it, and I feel pretty sure that it was getting down onto the area under my jawline and onto my neck when I was rinsing it off. I haven't used that for several weeks though, because it was absolutely killing my skin. I'm wondering if it's taking this long for my neck to get back to normal. I started using a lot of new products on my face after seeing the doctor (Neutragena Extra Gentle Cleanser, Olay SPF 15 Moisturizer, and then I started using the ceramide capsules recommended on this board). I'm cutting everything out but the Differin and going back to Linda Chae Organic Essentials skin care products because I've used those before and my skin was very comfortable with them (not clear, but comfortable). It could be from the internal meds, too, the Doxycycline or Alesse birth control pills. Maybe one of those is causing the dermatitis on my neck. I also started taking .5 mgs. of pantothenic acid about 2 weeks ago. Heck, I've been using so many new things that I just don't know what's causing what. (sigh) The air is also very dry here lately.
: maybe its all the new stuff that you're using or maybe you're using too much stuff or maybe its the fact that you keep using new stuff and your skin is like "leave me alone!!" lol..anyway, you said you take alesse? is that for acne? i take orthro tri cyclen and i think that it might be causing my acne. i've been on it for 4 years and i'm just now starting to connect the two. i'm not taking them for acne so i have to stay on it. so is alesse any good?
