: : Hi, my dermatologist wants me to take accutane for the 2nd time. But, i really don't want to cause my acne really isn't that bad. It only looks bad cause I have alot of those red marks. I tried almost all of prescription drugs, but i haven't tried OTC herbal/vitamin things. And i would like to. So, if anyone has any information about things i could try, please tell me. I've heard of a lot of people using MSM....does that work?

: You have probably read my posts below, but if you haven't please do. I too was scheduled to take Accutane for the second time when I came across www.acneregimen.com. After multiple doctors and every oral and topical medicine known, I couldn't believe this worked for me. I was clear in 10 days. You use over the counter products available at your local store and the treatment regimen is laid out on the website for FREE! The only change I made in the regimen was a single blade "Bump Fighter" razor. I beleive a single edge razor is better for acne patients because it cuts the hair off at skin level instead of below the skin as double or triple edge razors do. The treatment sounded too simple and not strong enough, but I had tried everything else and thought, "What the hell". I am 32 and have been dealing with acne for 17 years. I have tried all the herbal things and got no results. I still take a quality multivitamin, msm, and vitamin E. Not as much for acne as for my general health. Get plenty of rest, excercise, eat healthy, drink water. Try it. www.acneregimen.com The most promising natural treatment I have read about is high doses of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). I am investigating this now. Good luck.
Neil, do not post other acne websites, due to board abuses.
