: I just wanna know if anyone tried Proactiv on blemishes? I have mild acne...actually I only have couple of pimples now, cause I've been taking vitamins C, A and E. I use Clearasil Face Wash, PropaPH astrigent cleanser, and clearasil 10% benzoyl preoxide ( almost same igredients as Proactiv ). And it has been working real well so far. I use to have really bad acne, now I only get a couple of pimples a month. But now I'm left with all this ugly red , and dark blemishes. does anyone know a way to get rid of them...fast!!!
: proactiv is actually 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. which is a lot better than using the 10%. i've used and didn't like it but a few of my friends swear by it. its the same stuff you can get otc..nothin' special. i think that stuff is more for people who do not have persistent acne you know what i mean? as far as the red marks go, time will get rid of them. fast?....no. you just have to be patient. always use sunBLOCK so they dont get worse. a lot of people on this board use azeliac acid and they say it helps a lot with the red marks. its available by prescription only unless you search the net and find an overseas pharmacy. good luck
