Hello all,
I've been visiting this site for months now, and it's really helped me. A while back some people started writing in about vitamin B5. I thought I'd give it a whirl because it sounded a lot healthier than going on Accutane, and the Azelex I was on didn't seem to be doing all that much. I've been taking 2 grams of B5 (pantothenic acid) a day every day (one gram at night, one in the morning) for a couple weeks, and my skin has never looked this good! And I've tried it all (except Accutane.) It has cut the grease factor by I'd say 75%, and oiliness had been one of my worst problems. I'm really psyched. The good results might also have something to do with the Azelex which I still use at night to dry out my skin and fade scars, and the ceramide gel I put on in the morning which seems to help with scars and oil control as well.
Best of luck to everyone and please ask me any questions.
