Well, I am not sure about tetracycline; I only know that it is supposed to be stronger than minocycline, which I was on for a few months. Minocycline worked for me (when I was on it anyway). It definitely took a good amount of time before things got much better, but they did get better. That was about two years ago, and I am now 24, still looking for a solution to the problem. SO frustrating. Good luck.
