Watch out for soap, most have high wax content and salt which leaves deposits on your face that cloggs the pores and leads to more problems. You can tell if it is soap based if it lathers up!

I didn't know this till about a year ago and had been using soap on my face for years which is what has caused all the deep imbedded blackheads on my face.

I am currently using some products by Pierre Chenxu in Singapore. Their website is where I read about the harmful effects of soap and could certainly attest to what was said about it as true in my case.
