hi, i've also tried the same two birth control pills you are taking for ance: desogen and ortho tri-cyclen. i had no luck with them at all. no one i've ever known has had good luck with bc pills for acne. so, what i can't figure out is how can they get away with claiming that these pills do wonders for acne.

anyway, my acne is probably considered moderate-severe rather than mild. i've taken several antibiotics and topical treatments like Differin, Cleosin and Triaz just to name a few. they helped some, but the help was always superficial. so, my doctor finally put me on accutane. my skin is looking so great now. don't give up...work with your dermatologist to find things to help. And don't pick at your acne.
