: I am 20 and have had acne for a very long time. I started getting it on my shoulders and upper back the last 2-3 years now. I was on Accutane about 4 years ago and I wasnt real impressed with the results, not to mention my hair thinned out from it. Right now, I am using daily a clean and clear face wash as well as another product that has these micro scrubbers in it, it has helped control my acne, but hasnt cleared it up. Ill probably go back to the dermo, but does anyone have any other suggestions?? I dont want to go back on Accutane again because I dont want to lose more hair, as mine never grew back. My only alternate theory is that I eat a lot of fatty foods and always have, as well as probably havent gotten very much protein, and maybe the fatty foods are causing the acne and the lack of protein causing the hair thinning. What do you think?

Ok Matt its good not to go n accutine, it has lots of side affects not only hair loss it can damage the liver or brain. And face clean wash and other pharmacy products doesn't treat every problems, I would prefer u to take the gel called (Isotrex) its similar to accutine, it doesn't let the acne to grow. just put the gel once everynight. And u can still eat your fatty foods if u take some Vitamin A foods, which are green and orange vegetables. I would prefer one glass of 70%carrot and 30%bean juice everyday.
