I'm done accutane and would now like to correct my severe scars. I am 20 and am hoping to have this problem fixed before my youth is over. My doctor told me I should wait 6-9 months at the earliest before getting a CO2 laser surgery. A Dermatologic Surgeon told me accutane only stays in your system for a month and that she wants to do a laser on me in March. The reasons doctors want you to wit at all is that the sebacious glands help with the healing proces after a laser surgery. HELP Somebody!!!!! I want to get 2 laser surgery's as soon as possible and get this problem fixed to the fullest possible extent. Does anyone know anything about this subject?
