The first couple of days it actually looked better and was hoping I wouldn't have the "temporary worsening of acne" that your supposed to get during the first month or so. So much for that hope. Now I just hoping that each of the new zit brings me one zit closer to my LAST one. My lips are starting to get less chapped. Hopefully the body adjusts to this stuff and the side effects decrease. Hopefully we both get past this first phase soon and see some improvement. Good luck!
It's normal to break out while on Accutane. Some people continue to break out until they finish their course. Everyone is different. Give it more time. It might take a few more weeks or a few more months - that's nothing out of the ordinary. I'm sure the 1st few months (or maybe even the entire course) can be hell, but don't forget to think about the end result - imagine yourself with clear skin :) The torture will be worth it in the end.
