I just was prescribed Spiro. I have never had acne and since the birth of my first baby, I have had small bumps (like a rash) that flare up and itch. They are in the T zone (sometimes on my ears & neck) and do not look like the "typical" pimple (no head). I believe it is hormonal because I get it twice a month, once before my period and another time when I start the second dose (8th day) of my birth control pills. Does this sound like the same type of acne that all of you are having? I have been on spiro for 3 days and my face has gotten worse. My doctor says to wait a month and that it is normal to have a flare up when you first start the pills. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
