We have a 7 year old boy, one of three. We have been doing everything of late, with some promising results. He ahs had two counseling sessions and is now much more aware of his behavior issues. This began with the counselor reading him a book about a fictional character with a similair problem. I asked the couselor about gettinga copy and she replied that it is a book avaialble to that community only.
After having read the recent news about Ridlin and therapy being the best combination, it is tempting, however we will see how we do in some different directions such as continued counseling, some tutoring as well as the extra attention and the pycnogenal and vitamin related therapy. We are also looking at sleep issues as well.
The bottom line in terms of your helping your child with their homework is a your patience and understanding of the process. It is not easy and we reserve the right to use drugs, but would rather see how we can do without for a while. Good luck.
