We were all expecting an ADHD diagnosis to explain our 6-year-old grandson's recent behavior, but after the first visit with a Child Psychiatrist today, the preliminary pronouncement is 'blind rage'. Of course, the doctor never observed the actual misbehavior (he needs to be restrained - no matter how many adults are in the room), and has indicated the need for further evaluation as well schoolteachers' reports of fighting incidents, etc. He's really a sweet-natured kid - most of the time! Sound familiar to anyone?
