Dearest Cheryl:

You should contact your county courthouse regarding getting your son a public defender.

You make reference to drug charges and the fact he has ADD. I can understand and sympathize with you regarding your son's situation, however there are two issues here. #1, your son has ADD. #2, he is involved in drugs.

If you are planning on using #1 against #2, good luck. Regardless whether your son has ADD, he is in trouble with drugs and must face the music regarding the courts. It is unfortunate he is ADD, but that will not excuse him from his crimes with drugs.
