~~~When I was taking Wellbutrin and Dextrostat in combination, I not only lost weight effortlessly, I was much more sexual, outgoing, and confident. It increased my libido immensely. :-) Unfortunately, after a few months I became obsessive with cleaning and music and I couldn't sleep, so my doc put me on Luvox for a while. Darnit! ;->
: Few people talk about this sensitive topic, but since I have had psychological training, have ADD, and have had a difficulty with the "wandering eye" which led to some major shakeups in my marriage, I would warn those of you with ADD to watch out!
: Since sexuality and fantasy are closely linked, and persons with ADD/ADHD are particularly well equipped to create fantasy worlds to remove them from the mundane, it is a natural for adults with ADD/ADHD to create sexual fantasies which are unrelated to reality.
: Disconnected from reality, I have found it easy to create new scenarios with women that are dangerous, and are in no way related to the reality of our lives.
: For a man, the wanderlust may seem almost normal, since guys recieve approval in society for such behavior, from my own observations, this tendancy to fantacize and act out sexually is much more an issue with ADHD women who tend to act out in a more direct and physical way. Like other addictive behavior, sexual addiction seems to have grabbed me from time to time, obviously this is disturbing to an otherwise satisfying marriage.
: Ritalin? Well I'm on Ritalin, but unless I dose myself at a high and probably unsafe rate, this particular problem persists.
