My son was diagnosed ADHD five years ago. For him it is mostly a problem with focused attention
(I guess others can have learning disabilities too). He does extremely well academically when
CHALLENGED and is able to skip the repetative!

He was taking Ritalin 2-3 times daily since 2nd grade. During 4th grade we had to increase his dosage and
eventually ended up trying a few other meds. After a horrible couple of months...we ended up at a
specialist and trying all sorts of meds in varying combonations. We also sought some counceling,
got an IEP (special school education plan), and took some classes our selves.

Our saviour was Adderall. He's been on it over a year, appetite has increased, behavior isn't perfect, but
but he's (trying) to learn to make wiser choices.

We have seen no bad side effects to this point.
