: recently my son who is diagnosed with ADD was assigned
: to an alternative school for the rest of the semester
: for what was classified as persistent misbehavior has any one experienced this kind of treatment
: and what can be done

I have no expierence with this but no that your child is protected under the American Disabilities Act so go out on the web and find out what your rights are. My son recieves extra help but is still in his regular class most of the time. He has no behavioral problems though so I have no info in that respect. Good Luck
