Your son has the right to a education just like any other child with a learning problem! Ask the school about "section 504" which is part of the American with Disabilites Act. The schools have to help you even if they have to give your child one on one attention. Ask about a "IEP" Individual Education Plan - for your child. I'm going to ask our son's school about it as he is reading under grade level and having trouble with his work. I think the children in school have a hard enough time without needing to be singled out like your child has been done. I am not sure which state you are dealing with but here in VA. they have to help your child or else they can get in alot of trouble by singleling out a child.Best of Luck and done give up the fight. FIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD'S RIGHTS, NO ONE ELSE IS GOING TO IF YOU DON'T!!!!
