Adderall is a relatively new amphetamine. It is indicated for ADD. The reason many doctors will not prescribe it for people with a history of drug abuse is that they mistrust their patient and are afraid they will loose their liscense to practice medicine. If you have concerns by all means discuss them with your doc. You may want to go to your public library and look at their drug references. But you have found a real gem, a doc who trusts you when many wouldn't. Resolve not to betray that trust. Knute.
