I'm 23 years old and was put on adderal about a year ago in order to treat my ADD. While the adderal did allow me to focus my thoughts better and become more organized, i would usually become sluggish around evening and then even had trouble focusing my thoughts. I moved to ritalin and the changes were drastic. I was able to concentrate and comprehend things much better than on adderal, and by taking the ritalin was able to stay energized throughout the day. while adderall and ritalin are very similar, i must say that ritalin is by far more effective and beneficial.
although,this is just my experience with adderall and ritalin. yet i bellieve most people with add will agree with me on this one.
