: I was diagnosed with ADD 2 years ago, to my disbelief I didnt want any help, I thought i just had to be more mature, I was wrong. At the time I lived in Michigan and the doc gave me adderall, worked fine, was doing things right....moved to PA... didnt keep up on my meds and I am starting to fall....went to my PCP and he insist that its a form a depression? how he got that I am not sure. he perscibed Paxil, just want to know if this could be treated for ADD, or should I seek out a Doc who will give me the adderall

: Email is Dgranny367@aol.com

: Thanks
This won't help you any, but our 6-year-old grandson has just been prescribed Paxil (intended to help control impulsive behavior). His Mom was told that it is often prescribed for adults with anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and several other similar conditions. We thought the boy was ADHD, or recently maybe even bipolar. But, Doc says no - he is quite normal and 'happy' too much of the time. David, I hope it does the trick for both of you.
