Andrea,
I too have recently been diagnosed with ADD. I have been reading this book called ADD: A Different Perception by Thom Hartmann. He has a optimistic take on what ADD is. To shortly sum it up, in prehistoric times when man was more of a hunter/gatherer, it was necessary for him to be able to constantly scan the environment for food and a be able to commit all his energy into the chase when needed. With the start of agriculture, man became more reliant a steady food supply and the hunter population was greatly diminished. That's the general gist of it anyway. We only have these problems because the world is dominated by "farmers". Better stop typing before one of us gets bored. ha ha
