I am a 25 year old male in my senior year at texas christian university. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 92' and began taking ritalin off and on over the next several years. At first when I didn't abuse it, it seemed to work well my grades went up and things where going well. I then began to rely upon it more and more. Evently I began to abuse the hell out of the stuff, staying up all night, drinking and using ritalin. I quit drinking but I am still abusing ritalin, which seems to get worse every semester. I have started research on how to get off this stuff and try and get out of school. I know exacly how you feel and can only tell you to only use ritalin in moderation and take it every day to keep the roller-coaster effects and mode swings at bay. Let me know what you think a
