In Reply to: difference between ritalin and adderall? posted by joe on January 26, 2000 at 23:08:58:

: I was just put on adderall today and was wondering if could those of you who have taken ritalin and adderall fill me in on the similarities and differences between them. my roommate in college took ritalin and would occasionallly give me one to help study for a test. the ritalin made reading and studying very interesting to me. i actually enjoyed reading and writing papers when i was on ritalin. i was wondering if adderall has the same effect.. will it make me enjoy reading and studying??/
: thanks you anyone who helps fill me in on this.
my son has been on both. They are both in the stimulent class,ADDERALL
is newer and seems to have less side effects, last longer and you come off slower without the
same "crash" as with Ritalin. It has all the same benifits with less trouble in our esperience.
good luck,I hope it give you what you need.
