Yes, it does make sense. The name of the drug is methylphenidate. Ritalin is a brand name for the methylphenidate Cibe Geigy makes just like Scotch Tape is the brand of cellophane tape that Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing makes. I use the generic and I can see no difference between the generic and the name brand. However other people may have different opinions. Knute.
