: Has anyone had this experience: I was taking adderall (the only stimulant I have tried so far) and I was not noticing anything. My doctor 2 weeks ago put me on Celexa. It is an anti-depressant. I have actually noticed it has been helping my depression as well as my add. I thought stimulants were the only thing to work. Anyone had a similiar experience. Noone ever replies to my messages, so someone please reply for once.

Many anti- depressant drugs or anti-psychotic drugs are used for lots of different purposes. My husband is using Nortiptyline to totally eliminate daily migraine headaches and that medication is an anti-depressant and is one that has been around forever. It is great that they have found a medication that is working for you so well. Be glad that something worked so easily for you with out a lot trials with other drugs.
