No, it's not. My child was evaluated for add, doesn't have it. What she did have was extreme bordom. So it is possible but depending on the situation, you child may just be extremely bored (this will happen when you're made to do the same thing over and over and over and well you get the point) if that's not the case then there may be a problem.
