: : My daughter was just diagnosed with ADHD - Inattentive.
: : My husband and I are unsure on whether or not we should medicate her. I heard that Adderall works well with the "Inattentive" type of ADHD with less side effects than Ritalin. My pediatrician has not seen any documentation on Adderall. I am looking for any information on the drug. Or any help someone can give us.
My son has been on Adderall for two years. If your pediatrician hasn't seen any documentation, I would find a new pediatrician! It definitely has helped his attention span
: : I am a newly discovered adult with ADD and have 2 sons, 9 (ADHD) & 12 (ADD); the 12 yr old and I are on Adderall and Serzone. They have been working well for focusing, and seem to complement each other for other side effects such as depression and memory issues. I highly recommend them as there are no side effects with us. My 9 yr old is on Pamelor and risperdal, but he is quite different from us.
