I am an adult with ADHD, my Dr started me out on Ritalin, then Dexidrine, now I am on Adderall
What he told me is Dexidrine tends to make you more aggressive if you have that personality trait (which I do) and when I was on the Dexidrine I did notice a slight difference.
I like Adderall the best but my lovely insurance does not cover it and it is quite expensive but I pay for it myself just because it helps me focus so much. Good luck, if you search the web for ADD there is a lot of info out there on ADD and the drugs used to treat it.
