Usually the school will only do the Core, Educational testing and assessment. They cannot give a medical evaluation. Some school do have an outside psychologist that they work with who will evaluate him for ADD. After testing with the school you should also get a second opinion. Someone of your choice from a reputable hospital who can do the educational and neurological testing on your child. In my state, if this is done within 6 months of the school tesing date the school has to pay for the exam as long as its the same testing that is done.
