I too as others mentioned that i didnt have the parental support necessary for a child with ADHD symptoms. But my parents did love me, they just didnt understand. But my question is how, now as a 32 year old male who has had a life of blur, due to the lack of neurotransmittors, which is hereditary, can you say that it is a farce. I know and agree that there has been a dice throw from the medical community to diagnosing any and every child with a few characteristic traits of ADD. That is changing. But I wish that when I was tested at age of 4, proven a high IQ, multi-creative, and told to my parents that I would have major problems for lack of focus, that it was determined by them, teachers and peers that I didnt try hard enough, or that i didnt care or that I was undiciplined. I just couldnt. And that is medically proven.
