: I'm 21 and have been on ritalin since I was around 11. I was taken off it for 2 years when I was 15 because it made me tempremental. They gave me dexadrine as an alternative. I found the dexedrine worked better but after two years I was switched back to Ritalin due to excessive wait loss from the dexedrine. Ritalin has worked well for me up until recently when I switched to Adderall which I find even more effective.
: : I am a 35 yr. old female. As I am newly diagnosed and on my first trial of Ritalin, I'm curious to know how other adults are responding to this medication. Highs, lows, positives and negatives. Please share your experience and insights with me. Thanks guys.
I am a 37 yr. old female. I've been taking Ritalin for a two yrs. It has changed my life. I'm not so hyper. I don't get as overwhelmed with life. My husband tells me I pay attention to him when he's talking. I use to walk away, not realizing he wasnt done talking to me.My ADD was hurting my mariage.I have had to go a day or two without it.Man,could I tell the differents!
