: My daughter is taking 15 mg in the a.m. and 5 in the p.m. for A.D.D. Her school work is improving but she has a headache everyday when I pick her up at 3:30, and boy is she ever cranky! Anyone else ever have this situation? I know she is hormonal, also, but her moods have gotten much worse since the adderall. (At least in the afternoons)

She may have low blood sugar...ask her if she will eat a snack in the afternoon to see if it helps her feel better. Also, is she eating a good breakfast? I just ask as many teens are not esp. good eaters.
Also, I would ask how things are going at school. She may be under some kind of other stress, maybe social.
It is easy to forget that not everything is about ADD.
