I'm a little confused, and I also refuse to believe their is a disease called ADD or ADHD. I may be stepping on some toes here, and if so,... sorry, but you'll have to give me some really strong evidence that ADD does exist and has existed many years ago. I've been told Einstein had ADD, well if thats true and ritlin was around back then would he have been able to do what he did? And another thing look at the movers and shakers of the world who get things done because they are driven by passions and desires, are they ADD? What if we put all kids on ritlin who can't sit still in class because they are fidgity or bored with the subject, and can't stay on "task" . Where do you think those kids will be in 20 years? I don't know but I'm not willing to risk my daughters health or passions to find out. In conclusion who are "they" anyway?
