In my opion it sounds to me like your dealing with a lot more than ADHD. My son (10) was diagnosed with ADHD at a very early age. We also went through every medication in the book. All the stimulants caused a sever increase in blood presure. The anti-depressants didn't work. Then we ran across a drug called Calonadine. It's used for lowering high blood pressure in adults. In lower doses for children it seems to have a wonderfull "calming effect". My son could not posssibly go to school with out it. I have researched ADHD and ADD for well over 5 years now and there really seems to be no quick fix. All I know is that you must have an over abundence of patients, understanding, and love for your children. My son has been in the Special Education program in school since day one. He was so out of control in went through 6 different schools in a matter of 2 years. He now attends a private school that deals with children that have the same problems he has.
