My son (6)was diagnosted with ADHD 8 months ago, we are implementing behav. modification. but he was getting worse, having lots of trouble with friends, jumping from 1 activity to another, not being able to calm down, etc. My husband and I decided to start meds. Dr. is starting on 5mgs of ritalin. How do we know if it is working? Or if he needs increase? I have read 5 mgs usually is not enough? Any advice is appreciated.
