Wellbutrin tells the brain to increase its uptake of dopamine. In other words after dopamine is released it says don't take it up, just leave it(same as prozac, excp prozac increases serotonin); but this takes weeks. Adderal, dex, and ritalin tell the brain to release dopamine which has an immediate effect, within minutes, and in this way is like cocaine. Because of this if you take an excessive amount of stimulants you could get depressed and have a craving which will lead to addiction. Adderall doesn't give me headaches, only a little bit of a rapid heartbeat and i sweat more but thats about it.
