DeAnna, I cannot tell if your daughter has specific ADD symptoms, but that's just me. To me ADD is normal. I would recommend reading up on ADD in children, and also other things such as auditory processing problems, related learning disabilities, and also anxiety. Another suggestion is to see a child psychologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children. I see you will be seeing your son's doctor (I am assuming MD or PhD), so you are on the right track.

Some of what you say about Rachel makes me feel for her. Her behavior sounds somewhat like my behavior at her age, except I was hyperactive. At her age I saw a child psychiatrist. Diagnosis and treatment helped me to feel better about myself and to know that I was not stupid.
