Yet another example how failing most (not all)public education is.

I opted to home-school, and my child has now graduated and gone on to college. There IS stigma involved in all of this and other kids can be unecessarily brutal.

There are satellite schools to study under that do the grading and all. If one can read and communicate, one can home-school. Some would have us believe it takes special education, but conveying facts from books is not hard to do.
My child tested two and three grades higher than grade level in every subject through the whole four junior and high school years.

I was planning to finish off graduation in a public school, and was told by the principal that they had nothing to offer my child academically and college would be the most reasonable next step.

The are other options.
