: : My daughter is only 6 years old and was told that she has adhd when she was only four. I do not understand how a doctor could say that with out testing her. I have kept her off her medicine for about two months she was doing so well. but now she is back in school and is having some problems. They say she is not learning. I do not know what to do. I don't want to put her back on her medicine. Any suggestions?
: Take her in for testing to see she indeed does have ADHD. If she tests positive they will recommend the best course of treatment for your daughter and you can decide where to go from there. Make the appointment to get her tested now while it is still early in the school year. Good Luck.
thank you for your reply, I wish I knew where to take her. I don't think our family doctor is the right person to decided what she has. Also what tests will they do?
