It may be too late to post a response to you.
It sounds like you have ADD to me too. I have avoided going to the doctor to be diagnosed but I also think I have ADD. If you want to talk, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
: I am not diagnosed, but from what I have read so far, I believe ADD is what has been wrong with me most of my life. Briefly, I lose track of what I am doing, am constitutionally incapable of cleaning house, have trouble getting anywhere on time, have trouble waking up in the morning, trouble going to sleep at night. I have lost multiple jobs due to my disorganization, inability to stay on track, and chronic lateness. I am very spacy and inclined to be a dreamer. I once got Ritalin on the street in the 60's in Haight-Ashbury, and I loved it because it helped me to become fascinated with cleaning the house for that short time. I hate being a messy, disorganized person. Also, I am in big trouble. Not only do I have checks bounce because I often fail to balance my checkbook, I am in big trouble with the IRS for failure to file for years. A neuropsychologist from Kaiser is supposed to contact me so I can be evaluated. Could I be like this and not have ADD? Could I just be messed up aand not have a neurological problem? How can I be sure I can find out what is wrong with me?
